Whether you are looking for somewhere to relax after a hard day of skiing or hiking, a fun-filled day with the kids or simply want to treat yourself, Kaprun caters for all of your spa, wellness (and waterworld!) needs.
The Tauern Spa and Waterworld stretches across 20,000 square metres with 13 saunas and 12 pools to choose from. From the indoor ‘”aqua world” with stunning panoramic views over the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier to the outdoor warm salt-water pools, activity pools and sports pools, you are spoilt for choice, whatever the weather. Kids will love their separate “Kidstein” area with its indoor/outdoor waterpark and slides, baby and kids pools, volleyball courts, climbing walls and various organised activities throughout the day. The Spa’s Sauna World offers a variety of saunas, steam baths and quiet areas for relaxing and taking in the stunning views. For those visitors who may be uncomfortable with traditional sauna 
etiquette but who would still like to have and Austrian sauna experience, there is even a sauna in which you may remain clothed! Wellness treatments, including massage, face and body treatments, treatments for kids and for couples are all available on the top floor of the spa, where you can enjoy views over Kaprun and all of the region’s mountains and glaciers while you relax. The Tauern Spa is on the edge of Kaprun – you can reach it in 10 minutes by bus (bus stop 300m from the apartment) or in summer it is a short 10 minute cycle from the apartment.
The Leisure Centre in Zell-am-See also offers pools, saunas and wellness treatments, and in winter boasts an ice-rink (usually open from September to March)
